Solu now offers support for fungi, with a special focus on the Candida genus!
Candida auris analysis
This release includes the following new analyses:
- Species identification for all fungal genomes
- Clade detection for Candida auris (according to current clades I-V)
- Antimicrobial resistance analysis for Candida auris
- Phylogenies and clustering similarly to other samples
Candida.app - free web app for Candida auris analysis
Due to the urgent need for Candida surveillance tools, we have made the pipeline for single-genome Candida auris available at candida.app. Check it out!
We also performed an initial validation, showing that both Solu platform and candida.app look to be reliable for genomic characterization of Candida auris. You can read the case study here:
HIPAA-compliant workspaces
Solu is now HIPAA-compliant as a company and we are able to offer storing PHI for premium workspaces. While normal users enjoy our robust features, HIPAA-compliant workspaces will be have additional backups, recovery, and logging measures available.
Other improvements:
- You can now export resistance heatmaps as high-quality PNG images
- Increased capacity for large genome assembly jobs (e.g. Candida)
- Improved zoom and responsiveness for phylogenetic trees
- Bug fixes and reliability improvements
