We’ve taken a first step to phylogenetics by enabling pairwise SNP distance calculations! The distances are calculated with SKA (split kmer analysis).

With this update, you’re able to discover how closely two samples are related. The comparison shows SNP distance and a kmer identity (Jaccard similarity). Additionally, samples are automatically clustered if the kmer identity is over 90% and SNP distance less than 20.
